SUNDAY SCHOOL PROGRAM

Sunday School begins each year on the Sunday after Labor Day in September and continues until the middle of May.  All children between the ages of 3 and fifth grade are welcome to participate.  They are assigned a teacher every year in the Fall, and are placed with children within their same grade level.  They have 45 minutes each Sunday of educational work, and 15 minutes of singing.  They sing occasionally during the worship services.  Also, during the year, they participate in the Fall Festival as well as the Christmas programs.  They conclude the year with their families at the Sunday School sponsored Spring Carnival. 

Zion’s Sunday School is now in their fifth year of Rotational Sunday School after four successful years.  Rotation studies one Bible story by having the children move from week to week to a  computer lab, drama area, arts and crafts, video theater and a storytelling area.  We at Zion want to ignite a spark in our children as they learn about their Lord.  Come join us and see the “sparks” explode into a wonderful program for our children.
